Mandi

Amanda “Mandi” Stunz is owner/operator.  She was born and raised in the Clinton community and is a 2000 graduate of Clinton High School.  In 2003 Mandi received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Central Missouri State University, currently known as the University of Central Missouri, in Warrensburg, Missouri.
Mandi has grown up with pets her whole life.  Her father, Kenney Jones, bred labs and she was given the opportunity to help care for them.  From this Mandi has had the desire to care for other animals.  While growing up Mandi was also involved in 4-H and FFA.  With these organizations she was able to gain animal experience and leadership skills.
She has educated herself and plans to continue to get the best possible information to be able to give quality care for the animals that are placed in her protection.  Through Mandi's education, which included college courses with the emphasis in animal science, she met all pre-veterinary requirements.  She has also observed local veterinarians at their practices for over 300 hours.  Through the Pet Care Services Association there is constant training and education on current topics in the animal care industry available.

Mandi also works diligently with the Clinton Animal Shelter by volunteering. She is also 2009 President (2008 Vice-President) of a group that is in contract with the City of Clinton to help take care of the shelter called the Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor (CARE), and is an active member of the PAWS club of Clinton. Feel free to ask her about any questions that you may have about how you can help the dogs in our community that are in need.

Michelle Miller is a part-time employee of Crossroads Kennels and a student in her junior year at the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, MO, majoring in sociology.  She has been employed with Crossroads since June 2008.  She has been a lifelong resident of the Clinton community and is a 2006 Clinton High School graduate.  She is very passionate about animals. The "most rewarding thing about my job is play time!  I love to watch the dogs run and play and be happy."-Michelle

Glenda

Glenda Stunz is an animal lover through and through.  Set your mind at ease if you are concerned if your four-legged family members are going to get enough attention, because Glenda makes sure that everyone gets lots of love.  Glenda is passionate for finding forever homes for our furry friends that are displaced.  When she is not at Crossroads it is likely that you will find her working at the Clinton Animal Shelter, as she works very hard in taking care of the less fortunate animals in our area.  She is a constant source of information on the latest to know about dogs.  If you ask her something about the health and care of your pets she will most likely know the answer or will find the answer for you.
